Hi, Karen, it appears that Wm. T. Clark and Ann M. Clark, appear in the 1880 US Census in Smithfield, Providence Co., RI (both 28 yrs of age) residing with his parents, John Clark (60) and Catherine A. Clark (50). John is listed as a Farmer; Wm. as "In Cotton Mill"; Ann "Keeping House" and others in the household: Patience J. Clark (18) In Cotton Mill; Carrie R. Clark (13) and boarders: Emma Randall (25), Mary Reynolds (24), Gilbert Hill (28) and George Wilson. The boarders also worked in the Cotton Mill. There is a Jeremiah Clark in that same Census at Page 68. Jeremiah is 73 yrs old in the 1880 Census, is a Blacksmith and is married to Amey (sic) Clark, also 73. They were both born in RI, both their fathers were born in RI and his mother was born in MA. Amey's mother was also born in RI.
