Hi, Could someone offer me some advice or have any material available to them to help me with this person. My g grandmothers birth and marriage record indicate Ann M. Brown, also known as Annie, as being born in Scituate, RI. I have been to the Scituate town hall and found nothing, but at that time I was very new to doing any research and may have missed something. She married William Clark(e) of Smithfield, I could not find anything at the Smithfield town hall on her either. In fact, his death record of 1902 (50yrs old) listed next of kin as his parents. I have estimated her birth to be approx 1850. I have the Ancestry, Vital Records CD for New England and haven't found anything on it for her. I also checked at the LDS library. It's a mystery! Clark, wife of William is listed as being born Mar 1854. William's birth is given as May 1853. They are listed as being married 28 years, and she has 2 children, only 1 living at time of census. She was b. RI - her father was b. RI and her mother Nova Scotia. William's occupation is listed as mule skinner. This doesn't fit you facts exactly - but is close enough to be considered. Florence
