    3. I have never heard of Phoebe being a nickname for Margaret. Has anyone else heard of that? I have a Pheobe Round born in Foster in 1786, if she is really Margaret, I might need to do more research. I do Thurber Genealogy and have found a number of Phoebes and Phebes - and have never seen any connection to the name Margaret. Florence Thurber Gargaro
