I am new to this list. I am researcing an ancestor by the name of Bernard McGovern. He emigrated from Ireland in May of 1896 through Ellis Island and on to the city of Providence. He is listed in the 9th Ward of Providence in the 1900 census. Can any one tell me where to start looking for Bernard's naturalization papers? What court house, approximately when he would have been naturalized (1901 ?). Are the records available with the LDS? Thank you, Don McGovern
