Hello, I have quite a dilema..I'm hoping someone can help? I have found my ggg aunt, Mary Ann (Brooks) Gould, after two years of searching mind you, who is buried in Swan Point Cemetery with her husband Stephen Lane Gould. I contacted the cemetery and they can not give me any information because the owner of the plot is a Charles Gould (who I do not know of) and I am not a direct descendent of his. Therefore, I cannot find out who is buried with them, dates, etc...I know this is a lot to ask... did I say this was two years of looking?, if someone lives near the cemetery, could they possibly check the plot to see who is buried there and the dates? I know this is a lot to ask, but I'm hoping. Thank you, Debbye
Debbye, I can not help as I am 3,000 miles away, but . . I am constantly amazed at the variation in the cemetery rules, no photographs, no information, etc. Within the week, I received two pages of information on descendants in a Cleveland, Ohio cemetery and I may be a third cousin, one removed. I realize many or these cemeteries are private property, but it is too bad they can not be more "user friendly" to the public. I really hope there is SKS that can help you on this request. Success to your in your endeavour. William R.
