    3. Hi, Can somebody tell me what records are available for searching. I have a William Howarth who I know was alive in 1930 and I wonder how I could find out when he died. Getting his death certificate may be the only way I can tell if he is mine. Appreciate any help Tina

    3. Try the SSDI, Social securuty Death Index. Found FREE at FamilySearch.org or Ancestry.com

    3. Tina, You can go to Rootsweb.com and search the SSDI, social security death index to see when he died.
