Mary , born about 1859 And Owen born February 20 th 1862 , They arrived In Perhaps New Jersey about 1863 where according to the 1870 Census There son Daniel was born in 1865 , A short time later they arrived in Pawtucket . Living at a house at " Donney Brook " near the river . opposite the Dunnel print works . Which was in the area of the old Dunnel home stead . What is Now where the Memorial hospital is. School and ponds Street's . More than likely James Worked for the Dunnel prints works . " At the Time of there arrival in 1865 Nearly three out of every eight Rhode Islander's were "Irish" . Obit from The Pawtucket Times September 17, 1913 James Keough 1838 -1913 James Keough A resident of Pawtucket for about half a century , Died last evening at the home of his son , Councilman Peter E Keough , 41 Arch Street , As A result of shock received a few months ago . Mr. Keough was born in Ireland and came to this country in his youth . He is survived by six sons Daniel J . , Peter E. , James L . , John H . , Eugene F . , And Joseph P . Keough; Three daughters Mrs. Fred Waterman , Mrs. Henry Snow. And Mrs. Edward T. Ball All of this City . 24 Grand children and One Great grand child . He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Church but of late years had been a member of St. Joseph's Church And Also connected with the holy name society . The deceased was very well known and much respected in the community . His funeral will be held Friday morning at St. Joseph's Church , where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 10 o'clock . Interment will be in MT, St. Mary's cemetery .
