Hi Leslie, Thank you for sending what you have on your Eldredges. I think that I am also a descendant of Robert Eldred, but I haven't been able to prove it yet. I have hit a brickwall on my Eldredge line. My ggg grandfather, Richard Eldredge, was born in Harwich (according to his death record) and his death record lists his father as Lewis and mother, Sarah, but I have not been able to find any trace of them anywhere on the Cape. It is conjecture that Lewis was the son of William and Mary Small Eldredge, but that is all I have. The gene pool was limited back then so it seems there was a lot of close relations marriages.
