Hi! Arline, My TAYLORs came into Fall River, MA, 1892-1896 from England. My grandmother, Mary TAYLOR WILKINSON came into RI, 1908. I'll list my family for you ........ just in case! 8-) Thomas TAYLOR, b. ~1820, married Elizabeth (?). They were living at New Street, Lees when their son, WILLIAM TAYLOR, married CATHARINA HOWARD in 1867 in Ashton Under Lyne. WILLIAM TAYLOR & CATHARINA HOWARD's children: James Edward b. 1871, Saddleworth Samuel b. 1872, Saddleworth Elizabeth Hannah b. 1875, Saddleworth Mary b. 1876, Lees John b. 1877, Oldham William b. 1880, Oldham Jane b. 1882, Oldham Lees b. 1884, Oldham William b. 1885, Oldham I believe William TAYLOR, b. 1880, died based on the renaming of the second William. Catharina (HOWARD) TAYLOR died 1890 and is buried at Christ Church, Ashton Under Lyne. Lees TAYLOR, died in 1895, of congenital heart disease, and is buried at Christ Church, Ashton Under Lyne. All the remainder of the family immigrated to Fall River, Massachusetts, USA, 1892 - 1896, with the exception of: ELIZABETH HANNAH TAYLOR. I believe she married and stayed in England or she, too died. I cannot find a trace of her here in the US ... i.e., ship's passenger lists, census records. Thanks very much for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
