http://www.courts.state.ri.us/records/forms.htm Try to see if they it was done locally. I was quite pleased with how they handled my request. unfortunately they didn't have the records. I then went to NARA in Waltham where one of mine was found. One out of two isn't bad. I know someone else who had a person in RI who finally found the papers for them in Taunton, MA.
