Simply go to your local library website. Click on the Heritage Quest database. A window will open that asks you to input your local library card number. Bingo, you've accessed the Heritage Quest site. Good luck. 3. The Godfrey Library in Middletown, CT, is very good. Membership is $35.00 for a full year. I access Heritage Quest through their Godfrey Scholar site. Would anyone have any information on the Goodwin family of Woonsocket, RI? I've been looking for my grandfather, Walter P. Goodwin, born 10-16-1891, Woonsocket, RI. I see his father, Leonard A., and grandfather, Oscar R., listed in the directories from the 1890s through the early 1900s. His father lived at 8 Dexter, also, @ 19 Rebekah Street. His grandfather lived @ 24 Second Avenue, also, @ 123 Transit Street, Woonsocket, RI. In the 1895 Woonsocket, RI, directory, Oscar R. Goodwin, is noted as removed to Providence. However, he is back in Woonsocket in 1898. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. 1. Burial of Bertha Mc Gair
    2. James R Morgan
    3. I am looking for the burial place of Marie Berthe Aubin Costello who was was usually listed as L. Bertha or Bertha L. in civil records. Bertha L. Aubin was born in Pawtucket and died on February 23, 1933 in Providence, Rhode Island, due to complication of child birth. Her unnamed son died on February 17, 1933 in Providence, Rhode Island. She either married (no document found) or lived with Henry Raymond McGair. On the 1930 census she said she married Raymond H. Mc Gair when she was 27 years old, making the marriage happen in 1923. He was born on March 29, 1896 to John F. Mc Gair and Mary C. Leddy in Providence, Rhode Island under the name Henry R. Mc Gair. Marie Berthe Germaine Aubin under the name of Bertha L. Mc Gair had the following two children with Henry Raymond Mc Gair. 1) Janet Mc Gair was born on August 28, 1924 in Providence, Rhode Island. She married Armond Goodreau, date and place unknown. 2) Son Mc Gair was born and died on February 17, 1933 in Providence, Rhode Island. He may have been stillborn or died right after birth because he was never given a name. Any help on any of the members of this family would be greatly appreciated. Jim Morgan Salt Lake City

    1. Mary J. (Williams) Patenaude 1865-????
    2. Tony Wood
    3. Looking for Mary J. (Williams) Patenaude after 1900 in RI. She was born 1865 Canada. In 1900 she was living in Pawtucket, ward 5, age 35, married 19 yrs, 3 children, 3 living, dressmaker. With her are daughters Emma age 12 and Mary E.age 10. I was told her third child not in the home in 1900 was Louis N. Patenaude born 18 Jun 1883. I can't find him on the 1900 or later census records. I know that Mary's husband John died in the poor house 1904 and I have his death record(I don't know where he was in 1900). Mary's father James Williams died at the age of 99 in 1929. In his obit she is listed as Mary Patenaude "of Providence", but I can't find her on my 1930 census index. I also cannot find her on the 1910 or 1920 RI census. All of the children were born in nearby Mass (Wrentham and Attleboro). Mary was married to John Patenaude in 1881 Pawtucket. Mary's daughter Emma married a Strack c1906, moved to MA, but was divorced before 1930 and probably moved back to RI (she died in Providence 1960's). I have all of the Strack census records and Mary is not living with her daughter Emma. Mary's daughter Mary E. married a Galvin (1st name???) and died in Providence Oct 1969. I can't find her on the census so I don't know if her mother Mary was living with her. Does anyone have access to Pawtucket or Providence city directories after 1900 that might show a Mary J. Patenaude, widow? I would like to be able to record her whereabouts after 1900 and find her date of death. Thanks in advance for any help. Patty
