Anja, You are very welcome! I am also descended from the Wood family. Elce Wood born 1750 supposedly in England m. James Phillips in Coventry, RI. They migrated in New Berlin, Chenango County, NY in 1811 and Elce died at age 102 and 4 months in Columbus, Chenango Co., NY. Our family has lived there ever since. I have a poem Elce wrote at age 102-beautiful and you could tell she still was in excellent mental shape. Hope I can say the same for me! Elce's siblings stayed in RI.
