    3. I just returned from a week in Providence, RI tracing my family names of Bushee and Brayton. In reading some of my census records, I found in 1875, Susan W. Farrell, 60 and son Edgar T. Farrell, 19. Susan's maiden name was Harington. I think her husband was Andrew T. Farrell. Do you happen to have any info on this branch of the Farrell family? I am interested in this branch because Susan's sister, Patience B. Bushee was my G G Grandmother and she was living with Susan, the head of the family, at this time. 3. I am looking to share information with any person who has knowledge of the DAVIS family of RI (possibly Foster or Warwick) and Otsego County, NY. I think there is a good possibility that my Savilla/Selina DAVIS (b. Foster, RI, 1795) who married Francis TAYLOR (b. Burlington, Otsego Co., 1793) is closely related to the Davis families of Otsego County, NY. Several of DAVIS and TAYLOR families are enumerated very close together in the early Otsego County Censuses. Another family in the immediate area was COLGROVE. Susannah TAYLOR (1748-1822) and her husband Mager/Mayer/Major COLGROVE (1759-1830) have ties to Foster, RI and the DAVIS family. I have not found the burial place of Francis and Savilla, but the following DAVIS individuals were buried at the Taylor Hill Cemetery in Otsego Co., NY (according to "Cemetery Inscriptions of Edmeston, N.Y." published in the NEHG Register Vol. 101, April 1947, p. 93): Nathan DAVIS. Born Aug 10, 1802. Died Sept. 16, 1887. Hannah his wife Died Oct. 14, 1864 age 61 yrs 8 months. Hiram son of Nathan and Hannah DAVIS. Killed by lightning Aug. 5, 1862 age 22 yrs 15 days. Olive, daughter of Nathan and Hannah DAVIS died Aug. 13, 1828 age 2 yrs, and 3 months. Mary J, daughter of Nathan and Hannh DAVIS died Feb. 4, 1825, age 7 months. Henry son of Nathan and Hannah DAVIS. Ishmael DAVIS died Sept. 1816 [aged illegible]. Mrs. Anna, wife of Ishmael DAVIS died Feb. 28, 1812 in 70th yr. of age. William Davis 1778-1843. Bashaba wife of Wm. DAVIS died Nov. 14, 1865 age 72 yrs 7 months. Simon DAVIS died Feb. 14, 1887 age 77 yrs, 7 mo and 26 days. Sybil, his wife. Polly Tripp wife of Simon DAVIS died Mar 21, 1845 age 32 yrs, 6 mo and 6 days. Peleg DAVIS died Oct. 2, 1855 age 82 yrs. 3. I am looking for the parents of Susan C Wood born in Foster in 1838. May have had brothers Numy Wood b 1836 and Hiram E b 1832. I find Susan C, age 12, living in the household of Wendall H Stone and wife Lydia along with Samuel Hopkins and his family in 1850. Susan married Albert Hopkins son of Samuel in 1859 in Foster or MA. Their first child was born in MA before the family moved to Minnesota. Hawkins Wood was within 2 houses of Susan in the census. The LDS lists Hawkins as marrying Anna Bennett on 6 Sep 1825 she died 29 May 1843. Three children were given, Mary, Fidelia and George. Could Hawkins have been the father of Susan and the others? In the 1850 census Hawkins is 48 with no occupation or personal property. Any help would be most welcome! Linda Wood Sharp
