    3. I tried the FHC, I searched under "Rhode Island", and this is all I came up with : Rhode Island passenger lists : port of Providence, 1798-1808, 1820-1872; ports of Bristol and Warren, 1820-1871 I need 1900 and 1902, is there something else available that I have missed? 1. Re: [RIPROVID] Ports of Entry?
    2. Hi! Elaina, If you have your great grandparents naturalization petition, it will tell you what ship, the port and the date they came into. LDS does have passenger films and most of their family history centers have a list on their computers of ships and their ports and you can order the ship passenger film from that. It costs $3.45 per film so, I would suggest to get a copy of the naturalization petition and certificate from the Providence Archives or from the National Archives in Waltham, Massachusetts. The National Archives usually house the Northeast Region. The naturalization petition will also tell you their last address, who sponsored them and their new address. Sometimes people who ended up in Providence and surrounding area also came into Boston, Fall River, New Bedford as well as Providence. Good luck in your search! It is wonderful to see your ancestors listed and all their information! Merry Christmas! Lynn W. Sylvester Georgia, USA

    3. Hello list, I just ran across a new website. It has a Personal History and Journal Software program that's great. I found it at www.startmyjournal.com. Just thought I would pass it along - I wish my ancestors would have written something about themselves. It sure would have made my work alot easier. Kelly

    2. Jan Rodriguez
    3. Pat, I'm not doing Budlongs but checked the census images. There are 8 Budlongs in RI, all in Warwick, Kent, in 1790; NONE are named Isaac. The RI Budlongs are Benjamin James John Moses Nathan Rhodes Samuel Stephen. There are 2 in Windham, CN, and three in NY, Albany and Columbia counties. In 1800 there are 20 Budlongs, again no Isaac's. 11 are in Warwick, Kent RI. 4 are in Oneida, NY and 6 in Herkimer. Suggest you check out Warwick vitals to start! Perhaps they will help you figure which Budlong to follow! They may have all come from there! Do you have a location in NY? My Northups from RI moved to Oneida County in the 1790s. Happy Holidays! Her husband is noted to have died in Michigan. Mary Budlong & Daniel Towner named their first son , Isaac Budlong Towner. Was her father's name Isaac? Anyone working on this line? 2. Doug and Florence, Regarding the Margarets, aka Phoebe, that I found, perhaps I should add they were both in Ireland. In the families you both mention, sounds like (??) you might have English, or old Yankee families there. Who knows - maybe that makes a difference?! Loree
