Hi list, As I have only just joined (and am fairly new to family research) I was wondering if anyone out there can help me with an ancestor I'm trying to trace. I'm looking for Catherine Quinn who was born in Yorkshire, England in 1866. She married to become Catherine Hall and then when her husband died she moved to Rhode Island where she remarried to become Catherine Hart. I have her marriage record to Bengamin Davis Hart (a soldier) in 1900, and I also have her in the 1900 census in Newport, where she was working as a servant in West Broadway. After that I have lost her completely. I also believe she may have took her son with her to the US (Sidney Hall) but have no evidence for this yet. As I live in London I have no idea how to go about looking for her in Rhode Island records, what's available etc. Any advice would be gratefully accepted!
