The Rhode Island Historical Cemeteries Transcription Project Database has been updated with records as of May 1, 2003. There are now 422,209 records (most listings are 1647-1900) on over 400 web pages. Maiden names are included where known. Only the Master Index is available through the RIGenWeb Project beginning on http://www.rootsweb.com/~rigenweb/cemetery/ For a list of libraries where the whole database, including name and maiden name indexes, can be accessed by computer, go to the link above.
