Searching for any information on Daniel Gifford married Elizabeth [?] They are the parents of William Gifford [born abt 1799 Troy Mass.] later Fall River Mass., who married Sarah P. Cartwright November 25, 1819 Dighton Mass. On a map of Fall River Mass., in 1812 there is a Daniel Gifford listed as living in the area which now covers the area of where Eastern Ave. connects with the Brayton Ave Extension in Fall River Mass., near the South Watuppa Pond. I have recently been made aware that at this time this area was actually Tiverton R.I. I am searching for Elizabeth's last name, and also Daniel's parents. There is a chance that Daniel's parents were William Gifford and Priscilla Lawton who married 1767 at Freetown Mass. This William is said to have died in Tiverton, R.I.
