Hi all, Two years I began using a computer for the first time and only used word processing. My project was to write my autobiography for my children and grand children. I was born in 1926 in Newport RI and lived here until age 22. I have completed data, told in narrative form, from first memory at 1930 through 1948, and a sort of outline, still in narrative, from 48 to 68. As memories occur, I type them intheir proper place. People who lived during the 30s depression era and WW2 should ALL write their stories for their families. Don't we wish our ancestors had done this? Like too many of you, my family rarely talked about previous generations. Don't put it off. We never know how long we have and future generations will be glad of a glimpse into your childhood and later years. Barb Austin
