Looking for a WILSON (Peter or Alexander) family of Newport. In particular, Agnes WILSON (from an obituary in St. Louis about 1910) who passed away about 1910. She was a widow, 75 years of age (born in Renfrewshire,Scotland) and lived with her son in Newport. My records show two sons: Peter (b.c. 1873) and Alexander (b.c. 1875). Her deceased husband was Thomas. On an obituary there is a reference to a Mrs. A.E. Wiedmer, a niece. The obituary also indicated that she had lived "for several years in Newport". For both Agnes and her husband, this was their second marriage. Agnes was first married, then widowed, to Alexander SMITH in Scotland. By her first marriage, she had sons James and Alexander SMITH. The reference in the obituary could be for one of them or Peter and Alexander Wilson of her second marriage. Agnes was my gg grandmother.
