Hi Bob I grew up in Little Compton, too. Born there and Dr. King was the doctor when I came into the world. When I was fourteen I worked for him on weekends when his regular help (Hilda) was off. He had his own apothecary and I actually filled bottles and little white boxes (remember them) with the pills he prescribed for his patients. Some of the patients got "little pink pills" known as placebos for their "nerves"--a common diagnosis at that time. No State regulations in those days. Judy
