I can not believe that a with 12 children that no one has published and correct information on the Springer's of Little Compton & Tiverton, Rhode Island. If you are related PLEASE mention the number of the person below and just add basic information with a reference which is more complete. This will help me simplify my task. I know the Springer did move to Maine (which was part of Massachusetts) and also moved around Glocester/Boston, Mass as well as upper New York State. I am looking for ONLY Springer's who descended from Lawrence Springer & Martha Hicks of Little Compton MASSACHUESTTS (Now Rhode Island) Lawrence Springer ( 1645-1704) & Martha Springer (1659-1703) Children: 1. John Springer abt. (1670- 1753) (His father have him portions of the 42 acres he owed in Little Compton moved to Tiverton,RI) 2. Jonathan Springer abt. (1672-1714 (He was listed as living in Glocester, Essex County, MASS - Grantee Records 1708) He was listed a Blacksmith and married Elizabeth Sander-married in Scituate, MASS.-1699 3. Elizabeth Springer 1675 4. Benjamin Springer 1676 (Nothing on him) 5. Henry Springer (Nothing on him) 6. Mary SPRINGER 1680 (She married a Mr. Weaver) 7. Waddy RHODA Springer 1682 8. Joannah Springer 1684 9. Edward Springer 1884 (Moved to Newport, RI) 10. Thomas Springer 1685 Believe he remained Tiverton) 11. Martha Springer (unknown) 12. With very sketchy information, I think my descent is as follows: Was Lawrence spelled Lorentz. Was my Martha your Martha Hicks? I think my descent follows movement from Rhode Island to Maine and then to Wisconsin and then to Minnesota.
