I noticed one of the last messages here included something about the paper, Newport Observer. Does anyone know if back issues are online, available at the Newport Public Library, or the Newport Historical Society? Or is the Observer still in print? I am looking for an article telling of the wedding of my grandfather, Edward A. Edes, who was living in Newport and in the grocery business at that time. I could find nothing through New York records which is where I assume they were married. He married a Carolyn B. McNulty. Paulette Edes Waggoner in far off Washington state
