    2. Teddy Ronan
    3. Seeking leads / kin of Mary Ann Davenport m. John Devol/Davol b. September 02, 1793 and lived in Little Compton in 1860 - 1880. I have marriage as September 12, 1844. That would make him over 50 at time of marriage, so may be a second one. I have Mary's b. as 1810, still rather old to be married for the first time. I wonder about the parents I have for him, another Davol/Davenport union. William Davol and Elizabeth Davenport. Can anyone connect to these people. 1850 census lists John Devol 67 Mary A 50 Charles O 22 Frederick 18 Hannah 12 Allen E 9 George 5 Harriet 2 Elizabeth 1 Elisha 1 m Additionally, 1860 has Harriet 6 with Charles, Frederick, Hannah gone. Elizabeth Davol is g-g-grandmother of my husband Richard.

    1. [RINEWPOR] Clarke family
    2. Sharon
    3. Hello, I am researching the following CLARKE family. Anyone with any information on the children and who they married would be Greatly appreciated. Thank-you Joseph Clarke was born in Newport, Rhode Island, October 20, 1699, and at the time of his marriage, at East Greenwich, November 6, 1718, to Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas and Mercy Nichols, resided in Warwick. The marriage was performed by Thomas Spencer, Justice. Elizabeth Nichols was born March 16, 1695. Joseph Clark lived on "Potowomut neck," Warwick, near the line that separated that suburb of Warwick from East Kingston, since built upon, and now part of East Greenwich. His property there was deeded, December 27, 1756, to Jabez Reynolds, and soon after that date Joseph was recorded a resident of North Kingston, where he was living as late as March 9, 1765. Issue: 1.. Mary Clarke, b. Aug. 16,1 719, in East Greenwich. 2.. Benjamin Clarke, b. Sept. 3, 1 721, in Warwick. 3.. E lizabeth Clarke, b. May 28, 1724, in Warwick. 4.. Ann Clarke, b. 1. Re: [RINEWPOR] William Wodell
    2. Hi There is extensive information of ancestors of William Wodell in World Family Tree Volume 2- Trees 393 and 5093. There is a conflict in these two trees as 393 has William dying in Tiverton, RI and 5093 has him dying in Kent Co., Warwick, RI. The original name in England was Wodhull. There is a subscription fee available for this World Family Tree access and I have found it to be well worth the 49 dollars. You may have access to it from your Denver library. If you use Family Tree Maker you can get automatic downloads to that program. Judy Brooks Truchon Little copton--now in Texas for the Winter

    3. This is not Spam or advertising nor am I connected with this company or the editor in any way. I received a great Christmas present, a book titled "Tales Of New England Past", edited by Frank Oppel, published by Castle Books division of Book Sales Inc. It contains reprints of articles from the late 1800 early 1900. The articles are from Harpers New Monthly Magazine, The Outing Magazine, The New England Magazine, and others like these. They tell about whaling, farming, business, and life in the late 1800 early 1900. The book includes engravings and pictures. If you are interested in life during that era this is a good book.
