Good morning to all: My search involves Wanton Rice found in the 1800 Warwick, Kent, RI census. Wanton migrated to Bradford County, PA after marrying Mercy Gardner of Warwick and after fathering Oliver Gardner Rice b. 1792; William Warren Rice b. 1795; Mercy Ann Rice b. 1798 and Benjamin Gorton Rice b. 1800. Mercy Gardner Rice passed away in a flu epidemic in 1812 with Wanton apparantly remarrying (2nd spouse unknown) and having other children (confirmed by 1820/1830 Athens, Bradford County censuses).
