Hi: Thereis a web sight on Roots web world connect Project called the Johnson/Gilbert Family File That has lots of Rices and Holdens in it. I found all of my ancestors on it down to my gggggrandfather George Rice, b in 1744, It goes back to Lewis Latham in England. I took a quick look and couldn't find an Alice, but I know there was a Deacon Edmund Rice who came over from Suffulk England to Mass. in the early 1600,s and although my Ancestor John Rice came from the same place and had a father named Edmund it is not he same man. Maybe you Alice Rice is from him? I still think there must be a connection but can"t find it. Mary ----- Original Message ----- From: Alice M.
