    3. Jim -- Can you provide more details about the 1761 ships to NS? Why this exodus, and why then? I'm looking for a Morey/Mowry who was in Saint John in the 1790s, and I'd like to prove that he came from the RI Mowrys (Kent and Providence Counties). 3. Jim, For what it's worth, I noticed you mentioned John Sweet and N.B. in one of your posts, there were some of the Sweet lines from RI that migrated to N.B. about the time of the rev. war, may also have been some there earlier. ----- Original Message ----- From: J Lorimer Holm <loryholm@plainfield.bypass.com> To: <RIKENT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 21, 2000 1:13 PM Subject: Ships to Nova Scotia > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: James/Maureen Peer [mailto:tracer@bis.on.ca] > > Sent: Monday, November 20, 2000 5:53 PM > > To: RIKENT-L@rootsweb.com > > Subject: "Day" Family, Mid 1700's > > > 1761 Ships to NS > > I have been advised that 4 ships left R.I. for N.S. > > in 1761. 3. Hello Arlan I was trying to see if John Sweet died after the marriage to Priscilla Day. They married 05 Nov 1752 Coventry, R.I. Is this Priscilla Day the same Priscilla who married Ebenezer Wellman 26 Mar 1761 in Norton, (Attleboro area) MA? His 2nd marriage. Priscilla & Ebenezer settled in Mansfield, MA. How many members of the family (if any) took the ships to NS / NB. Thanks for the e-mail & good luck with your research.
