Hello Charlotte- Thanks so much for your reply. I have seen that Will, but the Comstock Book author feels that Levi is probably Lydia's son by Aaron's father. The "probably" is a problem for me, as I am working on an application to the DAR based on William, Lydia's father's, service. Since the connection is not certain, & I'm having difficulty proving Levi's parentage, I have found several other patriots in my lineage to work on for my application, but I don't like to give up on William- he was the first that I found! Am planning a trip to the Archives of RI and Historical Society in Providence soon, so maybe I'll turn up something there. Thanks again for the input!
