John Tomkins married Abigail Fenner on 22 Nov 1801. Abigail was the daughter of Joseph Fenner and Ruth Potter and the granddaughter of Jeremiah Fenner and Anne Warner of Coventry. Ruth Potter was the daughter of Stephen Potter and Mary Freeborn also of Coventry. John Tomkins and Abigail lived in Scituate and in 1820 migrated to Pennsylvania where they purchased 1/2 the land of Westcott Stone also from Coventry.
