Hi subscribers This is a relatively small list, about 80 subcribers, with not much activity, occassionally there are some topics that get some good discussions going. You may wish to subscribe also to the RIGENWEB mail list, it is very active, over 500 subscribers, discussing surnames and topics covering the entire state of Rhode Island. This might be a good time for another roll call, how about everybody listing their surname connections and other items of interest in Kent County, if everybody gets to know each other we can keep this list busy. One item I would like to clear up is James Arnolds works lists Ruth Pierce, daughter of Giles Pierce, married to Constant Maynard, however Giles' will lists her as Ruth Maguire but does not list her husbands name, My 4th G.G.F, was Constant Maguire, his wife is listed as Ruth, maiden name unknown, I would like to know if Constant Maynard and Constant Maguire are one and the same, with an error on Arnolds part in his transcriptions.
