Kay: Thanks for your message back!! It seems that all of us "New Englanders" from the 1600, 1700....etc. time frame, can understand "collateral" family relationships!! Just as a sidelight....I just had my DNA traced back on the British/European continent......that was great fun!! I followed all of my women back (mother, grandmother, etc. etc. to the last female lineage I could find, which took me to London area)....and lo and behold, it ended up that I am related, by my DNA, to the indigenous Saami peoples (they are still there!!) in the area of Norway!!!
