Betty, Can you get a little more specific about the names you are looking for. There are a few hundred Green/Greene's in Coventry. The following information is from the book of Coventry RI Historical Cemeteries. APPENDIX - LOST COVENTRY CEMETERIES JAMES GREENE LOT James N. Arnold recorded this lot on 26 Jul. 1905 and commented, "On the Coffin farm northeast from the house, in corner of lot, no protection, a shrub apple completely hides the graves. That of James Greene, wife, and members of his family. Possibly may have been small graves at feet of whose markers have been taken up" (Vol. 6, Book A, Page 1041). On page 1124, "They were Friends." This lot may be on Sisson Road. Coventry Vital Records, Volume 1, Page 192. Marriage of Henry Greene, S/O Wm.(not sure of that but sure looks like it) James Greene and Marcy Corey of Scituate) D/O William Corey on 17 Mar 1778. William Stone, Justice of the Peace. Children of Henry and Marcy: Job Greene, 2 May 1778 Cyril Greene. 20 Dec 1779 Spicer Greene, 16 Jul 1781 (I am going to recheck that spelling) Whipple Greene, 11 Oct 1782 Hanah Greene, 14 Aug 1784 Cyntha Greene, 8 Mar 1786 Humility Greene, 9 Jul 1789 In the Coventry Vital Records, Volume 1, Page 2 Marriage of Youziel Greene and Martha (Last name looks like it starts with an "L" that is crossed like a "T", followed by "oli" followed by another letter I can not make out) widow of Cantenbury on 4 Sep 1758. (I tripled checked the date and it sure looks like this date to me as well as the following children which can not be by Martha) In the Coventry Vital Records, Volume 1, Page 3 Youziel Jr, 22 Mar 1730 Henry, 29 Feb 1731 Abigal, 9 Feb 1734 Elizabeth, 28 Jan 1736 Robbort, 4 Apr 1738 (I also tripled check the spelling of the name) Phillip, 25 May 1740 There are a lot of Green/Greene's on the first 300 pages of so I am not sure if I am going in the right direction for you. I have not been able to find James Greene Jr. nor can I find an Abigail Wardwell Greene, yet. It might be interesting to note that there is listed a male name Wardwell Greene. Dick Young "Betty G.
