Hi Dick Alice has the wrong info. My line is not of John Greene the Surgeon and probably not of John of Narragansett. At this point there is no documentation of who John's (m. Abigail Wardwell) father is. Some say his father was John Clarke. That when his father came to Rhode Island, John changed his name from Clarke to Greene.
