I am looking for any information on the Elkanah JOHNSON family of Warwich, Kent, RI. Elkanah was b 1673 (tombstone) and married ?. He died in 1748 and was buried in Washington, Kent, RI. It has been written that Elkanah married "a" Mary BARTHOLOMEW. This marriage record was supposedly discovered in early Dutch records.
