I also had a granddad named Stephen. I'm wondering if they are one and the same. The only thing I know about Stephen is he was married to an "UNKNOWN" Norman,they had a daughter named Rachel Marinda "Riggs" Byrd. Rachel married my granddad Pleasant Wesley Byrd somewhere around Collin,Denton,or Dallas Co.,Tx., I think Rachel was born in Collin or Denton Co.,Tx. I have the info., just not in front of me.
