Lula Katherine Riggs in Shelbyville IN, Nov 18, 1878. She d. Apr 5 1936 in Riverside CA. My dad was a teenager when she died and I have very little inf on her family. I do not have her parents names ( have a copy of her mother's obit in Washington township listing her as Mrs William Monroe d.Sept 14 1910 age 60, Wm.Monroe was her second husband). Lula had one sister, Clara. Her gfather was Robert Grizzle or Grizzel or Gizzel. Lula m. Ira Yelton Aug 9 1893 in Newport KY. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks Marge Parks

    3. This data is from the 1880 Census. The name is spelled with an "e" in this census listing. The sister is also not Clara, so this may not be of any value to you.     3. Let me try a couple of Yelton families out of Kentucky. I think both of these Ira Yelton names are boys born in 1879. If he married in 1893 he would only be 14 or 15 years old.
