According to Wallace's "Genealogy of the Riggs Family", Daniel is a son of Joseph(4), Edward(3) Edward (2) Edward(1). Joseph was born in Newark, NJ in 1675 and according to Wallace, had 7 sons and 4 daughters. The name of his wife is not known.
