Doris: If you go to Ancestry.com or Rootsweb.com and call up "Rigg, A one name study" I believe a lot of your information is on that site. It is one of the best, if not the best collection of Information on the Web about the Riggs between Connecticut to New Jersey that I have seen. The man that wrote that put a great deal of study and effort into it. He knows more than I would every hope to know.
