My ggrandpa Samuel M. Riggs married 26 FEB1857 in Harris county, Texas. He was born in New York, but I have no record of where he traveled on his way to Texas where he married Sarah Jacinto Calvert Penn b.06 OCT 1838 in Cedar Bayou, Harris county, Texas.
