Sarah, As far as I know, SAmuel Riggs birthdate of 1796 is confirmed. I say "as far as I know", because it was given me by another family researcher. I thought about the numbers being off too, but I have never found another Samuel Riggs married to Charity/Chantz Splawn. No, I never got a middle initial for him, or a birth place.
