List, I am still looking for Samuel Riggs born 1796. I have found a Samuel Riggs in the 1840 census of Jefferson County, Tn who could me the right Samuel. Does anyone else have a Samuel Riggs in Jefferson Co., Tn. Besides his wife, there are three females and four males listed. That can agree with Samuel's household in 1840. There is also a Samuel Riggs in the 1850, with many other Riggs that doesn't figure out to be my Samuel. It makes him born in 1803. His wife is Elizabeth. I also have found indications of Sameul Riggs in Grainger County. They are only indexes so I can't check them out online.
