    3. Sarah, That's what I thought; but is there another? I can't seem to find one, yet that Samuel married Elizabeth Sutton, and died in 1835 and she according to one record, outlived him. Our Samuel married Sebrina Splawn, and we have for a death date for him of 1842. He probably did not marry twice. Have you seen another Samuel born in 1796? Anywhere? I don't show a 'Grace' as yet but my records for 1800-1900 still have many holes. My g-grandfather, father of Charley, had ten sons and I haven't worked on finding all the spouse(s) names. So far I have been concentrating on the early settlers and trying to follow their many trails. It look like when the clan was around Illinois, in mid to late 1800's, they dispersed in several directions so I know this is where the hardest work is going to be. Many of these brothers married women from the Vandevender family. Charley's wife was Arvella (Valley) Vandevender. I'll keep my eye out for a 'Grace', Sarah ==== RIGGS Mailing List ==== *************************RIGGS ARCHIVE SEARCH************************** To search the archives: http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl
