There were a lot of RIGGS in that area, and a lot of them were cousins. It is very confusing, and there is a lot of misinformation on the net. Rose Ann daughter of Rosannah WHITLATCH and James RIGGS had nine children by Thomas GRIM between 1853 and 1865, so I don't think she is your Anna. Do you have any dates which might help decide for sure?
