I have had several enquiries as to the name John with Augustus Riggs. I have been looking through my information and I do not have but one document with the name John. One is an article submitted to Meigs Family History Book by Lucille Jacobs (granddaughter) who attaches John to the Augustus. I also have the word of my grandmother (who was daughter of John Robert Riggs) who told me that her brother, John Augustus Riggs was named after his grandfather. Marvalene
