My great-grandmother was Rilla Delilah Hyatt, her Mother was Mary Pratt Hyatt who m. 2nd on June 7, 1885 to J.W. Riggs, full name unknown. From the Bible of Mary Pratt Hyatt Riggs, I have a copy of the following children who must have been by J.W. Riggs first marriage: Elizabeth Melvinnie Riggs , James Fulton Riggs, Ader Violer (???) Riggs, Mary Allis Riggs, and Thomas Jefferson Riggs. Birth dates from 1871 to 1881. This was sent to me by Clyde Duncan (dec.) some years ago. He and other Hyatt dgts. lived in Kaufman Co..Most are buried there. My Mother born in Sherman, lived in Denison as did her Mother, her Grd.mother and I believe her grt.grdma Mary Hyatt Riggs.
