The 1870 census of Tishomingo Co. lists the family of Henry RIGGS and also the family of Thomas RIGGS. I have both of these families listed in my data, however the dob is not the same. Wanda: I have a Henry Riggs, b. 1869 in McMinn Co. TN in my line if these dates fit your Henry I know a little bit about him and his family. The person that wrote about the Thomas Riggs, there is an article about him, either on Genweb (Texas or Arkansas), either there or Riggs-L within the past year. My Riggs didn't go to Texas until the late 1800's. Good hunting.
