Most of them had many, many children, and the brothers, in particular seem to have liked each other very much because they all named their children after each other. So if you have 8 sons, and they all grow up to have 8 sons, and they all recycle the same names, you will have cousins in the same generation with the same names, but with different parents. This seems to be an oddity of this branch of the Riggs. You will find one glaring exception, and that would be in the group that branched off and moved to Texas. They all have different, and very unusual names.
