Hi David, I need to look for a Census Record. There was a John Riggs Sr. listed with Mary Harris Gordon Riggs and had a son Benjamin in a 1860 Census, so this could not possibly the same Riggs. There is no way to know if this John came from Accomack Co. Know who his other descendants are. Tried to tie them in with my husband's Giles Riggs, but no luck! Sorry. Harriette Harris Riggs

Harriette, When you talked about your husband's Giles Riggs, is Giles a first name or is it Giles County Va.
