Reuben Riggs was granted 200 ac on Sinking Creek in September 1798, while a Timothy Riggs received 200 ac on Dry Sinking Creek in August 1799. Reuben Riggs was named in the estate records of Timothy Riggs, who died before 8 April 1805 in Christian County, Kentucky. Timothy's wife was Hannah; they had at least two sons, Daniel and Silas. Reuben Riggs was the father of my ancestress, Jane "Ginney" Riggs, who married Jacob Creek in Warren County, Kentucky on 1 June 1803. Reuben signed marriage consent, as did Jacob's father, Killion Creek. (Jacob Creek was aged 17 and Jane Riggs was 16 years when they married.) David Riggs married Nancy Reed in Warren County, KY on 6 March 1802, and Jacob Riggs married Sarah Boren in Warren County on 7 June 1799. David, Jacob, and Reuben Riggs are seen in Warren County, KY through 1803. David and Jacob are in Christian County, KY in 1804 and 1806. Then these RIGGS men all disappear! Where did they go?
