She died peacefully December 14, 1998 with her daughter - Shirley and husband M.E. ``Bud'' Conrad, and her son - A .J. Davis, Jr. and wife, Jeanne at her bedside. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren - Cynthia, Marvin, Vivian, Neal, Kirk, Jim and Randall, along with her 7 great-grandchildren. She was the Widow of Andrew J. Davis, Sr. and Joseph A . Riggs. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday, with the family present from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday in the Chapel of Colonial Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be at 1:30 pm in the Historic Snake Creek Cemetery near Needville. Pallbearers will be grandsons and oldest great-grandson.
