Looking for siblings, ancestors of Thomas Riggs born abt 1802 in Kentucky or Tennessee. Thomas, Brannick and Rhoda are the names that keep repeating. I have come across a James Monroe RIGGS who married a HANCOCK in Tennessee. I am trying to tie him into this family, but not necessarily so. Many families used the name of James Monroe in their families. Has anyone come across him (Thomas)? He lived in Arkansas and served as postmaster and in the legislature for two separate terms representing Izard County, before a biography was kept of their legislators. He died in Texas 1867 swimming the Medina River. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thad Greer
